It is said that the inherent turpitude of man
pops out during his private moments. 'Recording'
visits these nefarious moments and unravels
the truth.
Achievements

In the list of man's most revolutionary inventions,
the invention of wheel inarguably occupies the
front seat. It not only elevated the standard
of living but also made many other momentous
inventions possible. 'A' cinematically portrays
a way in which this invention might have taken
place.

For Existence : Project Fear |
|
|
|
| Director
: Deep Panjwani
Our first film was Project Fear, which
is a psychological thriller about the boy who
suddenly begins to see terrible dreams. This
ordinary boy faces extraordinary events in life.
The story asks the fundamental question about
the existence of human life.
Achievements: The film was
appreciated in Vadodara city and news papers
like The Times of India and The Indian Express
took notice of it as the film was premiered
at Vadodara’s first International Film
Club. Also the film was selected at Steven Spielberg’s
film competition ON THE LOT for the first round. |

Writer

Voltaire once said “When it is
a question of money, every one is of same religion”.
This line excited the maker to come up with an
idea of this film. The film shows the journey
of a single coin through various incidences. Hands
keep on changing but coin remains the same. Also
the film makes a strong point that although religion
is the fundamental and most important part of
human society; it shifts to backseat and money
becomes the dominating factor between the two.
Coin demanded sharp editing style with hand held
documentary type of look.
Achievement: The film was the
part of short-film competition and was amongst
the top lists of the CNN IBN critic Rajeev Masand.

|
|
|
Masand’s
Verdict :
“A film shot extremely well. VERY
WELL DIRECTED. Great idea to
use faceless, nameless people and Coin became
the most important thing while people became
incident to the story. Very
good use of music.”

Inspired by a true event that
took place at Banglore-Infosys, this story
is what we have seen and heard about a
million times. It is a very traditional
story of betrayal but it is very differently
told wrapped up in a new style by the
use of internet

Masand’s

“Very interesting film, very interesting
idea. Very good use of internet in the story and
what I really think was the masterstroke in the
film is the excellent idea of using dance as a
metaphor for cheating. Very Good.” |

Exciting film made out of a very short
and simple idea, the film is very well shot and
has claimed much popularity. The chasing stunts
and fast-paced sharp cut editing highlights the
work of talented crew. |

|
|
Masand’s
Verdict :
“Very interesting film, fantastically
shot. Very well directed and very good use of
music. It has a very simple and clear point
but it is made extremely well. I think it completely
proves how a complete story can be told in a short
duration. Very fantastically shot chase
scene. Very well done!” |

“Reviving Toru Dutt” is a short documentary
about an Indian author who died at the early age
of twenty one. She was the first Indian woman
to write a novel in English, the first & only
Indian who has written a French novel. She is
the mother of Anglo-Indian writing. She is definitely
